Sophie is still in the country and her buddy Pablo came over to visit a couple of times.
Pablo is not very good at lazing about, so he helped me knit.
He found knitting rather exhausting,
but his needle technique is excellent.
I've also been hobbling over to the neighbours to hang out with their new Greyhound, Prana.
They met Graham, loved him and decided to adopt. They brought her home last Sunday and now there is not only a new dog with a new home, but also, I have some new friends who make excellent martinis.
That's what dogs can do!
Despite all my unfaithfulness, I really miss Sophie. Hopefully, I will be able to walk well enough for her to come home on Monday.

Stretchy Sophie
Sophie at Night
Sophie is currently in the country while I recuperate from a minor thing that has left me on crutches for a week or two. She is not there by herself. She is staying with her dog walker and three other dogs. One of them is Pablo!
She is having a blast.
I miss her.

Sophie's Vermont Photo Album #4
A long, laboriously crafted, multi-layered film of a beautiful beast in the snow.
That's right, she doesn't listen all that well. But she listens when it counts and is the best dog in the world.
