Sophie's Brilliant Day
(despite the lack of colour correction)

Sophie spent the day on Lake Champlain in Vermont with Tuchuck and Narra, who came all the way from Delawarra.

There was a great deal of dog park festivities and swimming action, and some intense conversations about the meaning of tennis balls and the sustainability of the dog paddle. Narra chose to leap frog her way through the waves, while Tuchuck demonstrated his newly discovered prowess in the water.

Sophie basically swam .... and swam, and swam, and swam, and swam, and swam. She's a super stiff and tired girl tonight, but if she remembers what she did today, she is surely thinking it was worth every moment.

Sweet Dreams Sophie!

P.S. More pics with the proper camera, with the proper white balance, tomorrow. I got some beautiful photos of Narra. She is one good looking beastie! And Tuchuck? He's just too adorable for words.

Seeing you in that deep scary water was enough to cause my already inflamed bowels to spasm. It looks so scary, how can you go in there??????? I guess there are things I will just never understand. Like Tanner. and Hannah Montana.

I do forgive you for your flirtitude with Mango, I know you are an independent lady, but what can I do, I just am nose over tail for you.

Miss Shopie!
That looks like scary water! You are such a strong swimmer. I have discovered the cement pond next door and I swim in it until momma forces me to come out because my bottom is starting to sink.

Wow, great video! Angel is so inspired by you, Sophie! And the human continues to be amazed by your super powers. Tuchuck looks kinda silly--as usual--but we'll applaud the effort and new skill. :)

When's our next trip?!

It's so nice to see you swimming, Sophie. I don't like playing in the water but I sure can appreciate a nice strong swimmer when I see one. You're looking as gorgeous as ever. Hope you're loving your summer.
