Hi Sophie! Mom uses the Goldbond powder on my ears after I get groomed because they get itchy from the clippers and I scratch my ears like I'm a dog possessed and shake my head and rattle all of my doggie brains and this powder is medicated and works wonders for me! Our yahoo Airedale group has said that it works for hotspots too but Maggie and I have never had those before so we can't say for sure.
