or at least Wally T. Corgador's demand

The Adventures of Sophie Brador

and her
brother Graham Rabbit Riggins McGrey

___

Last Sunday was a beautiful fall day, so I bundled the beasts into the car and drove them up to the summit of Mount Royal for a walk.

The summit is a fabulous, wooded off-leash area where all dogs are free to run.

All except Graham Rabbit that is.

Being a Greyhound, he's a wee bit inclined to running away at the speed of light,

so he has to contend with being tethered to me

while the blond one romps.

Even this Irish Wolf Hound got to run free,

as did his owner with the nice camera hanging off his back

Now you may be thinking to yourself that some of these photos are not very good.

NONSENSE

This is art!

Sure, it might be better art with a camera like the Wolf Hound's owner had,

but I seem to be incapable of remembering to take a camera with me anymore.

These photos are all made with my iPhone.

Not the best ad for iPhone,

but fortunately, the beautiful Sophie Brador always looks good, no matter the technology.

Looking back on the day, Sophie thinks it was a marvelous adventure, even though she didn't attack anyone.

Miss Sophie!
So good to see you again. How I have missed your blond self. Is it just a trick of the iPhone or is the pancake dog getting a fat bottom? Just askin.

There are no bad pictures of you.

Mango

Sophie This is a wonderful ad for taking pictures of the La Brador. That looks like a great place to visit even though there are giant Irish Beasts there. I would probably attack him. And then pass out.

Hey! It's really good to see you back! We were reading along thinking about how beautiful the fall pictures were on your lovely soft teal (?) background, and then you go and get all apologetic about them. No way! We loved those photos. We agree they are a form of art. Yep. For sure. And we loved imagining Sophie running loose among all those leaves. Like Graham, we'll probably always be tethered.

Still happy

Perhaps the attacks happened while the cameras weren't rolling?

Looking good as usual, Sophie! The camera doesn't make any difference.

Hooray for adventures! But poor Graham...I know how he feels. I can only go off-leash at the fenced puppy park because I love to RUN, and I am SO FAST no one can catch me--especially not Old Girl.

Well we are with the flat kid on this one...not that we can run like the speed of light but we would just run the speed of a mouse or something..You are the lucky one one Sophie....If you ever want to pick a fight we are the ones to call..Love and a million kisses A+A

Hi Sophie. It's so nice to see you having fun on the Summit. If you want to fight, I'm your man!

You're looking as beautiful as ever. How could you not??

Sure did miss you at the show last week, although I was very happy to finally meet Mr.G. Flatcracker-rabbit. He is a sweet, gentle boy. Sorry to hear about his little .. um, incident, but it's not unusual for a greyhound to get the "runs."

Tell Mr.G I can sympathize about the leash. I hate that friggin' thing too.

Now I see why you haven't made it down this way! You have great spaces to roam.

Thought of you, Soph... Foster bro Harley's prospective adopter babysits a Golden Lab who used to flirt with the previous dog. She'd be all excited when she'd first see him, then she'd turn her head and walk away. :)

Oh, and you look mahvelous as usual.

Miss Sophie! Wally said the pancake dog isn't feeling well. That makes me sad because I know you secretly like him and he does seem like a jolly chap. All my best wishes to both of you.

Slobbers,
Mango

TwoSpecialWires said...

Well, Miss Sophie. Seems your brother is a bit better. We know that must secretly make you happy (admit it, or not!) We're about to go for our (quite delayed) walkie and then IN THE CAR running errands with Moma. Both make us happy, and now we'll be even happier after reading your news about Graham. We'll keep our paws crossed....

Thanks for keeping us posted.

Once again, the blonde has more fun.

Wally sent me over here to give good thoughts to Graham. I couldn't wobble if I tried, as my center of gravity is practically below ground, but it sounds unpleasant.
