Sophie... we've been following your worry as you and Joey think about and plan your future. Personally, we think the new greyhound is a beauty and you KNOW we are huge advocates of rescue and adoption. In our minds, you still rule the world. She's just a lucky girl to have you as a big sister. (She, right? We probably should go back and check!)

Joey is a great name, but I'd hate to have you confused and start making out with him or something. Mom likes Wyatt. Tanner likes the name meatball, but he is a dork so don't even listen to him.
ANYWAY I sure hope you like him and he respects you and all is well.
We couldn't wait to meet your new bunk mate. We know it will be an !! But we think it's a very worthwhile one.

Isn't it the best name ever?? I was tryin' to think of grey things...eyeliner, eyeshadows, dawn, etc, but when I looked at my pawfectly soft paws...Pumice Stone came to mind...now you being a dancer and all probably thought of it first thing...
Course when I came to your bloggie, I see Pumice isn't really all that gray...he's like more brown...hmm...(Lacie grabs a curl between her paws and absently releases it causing it to go BOING...)
So if you don't like that pawfect name, you could name him Bob...that's what Mumsie wanted to name Stanley but got voted down...or you could give him a doggie name like Spot or Lad...
It's ok, Sophie...now don't get all emotional on me...you don't have to cry about it...

Welcome home big guy and I am sure Sophie will warm up to you! Moose went a full week with no name until the right one appeared! He will find the right name in time! Another french name perhaps? Claude? Laurent? Jacques? Phillipe? Moose says the name Sydney sounds nice with Sophie ;-)
